With Christmas dinners and making card etc. etc.
We had a great Chrissy dinner with Christina's family and Marion. The Mc Queen's brought their Fairy floss machine. Our kids thought it was quite the novelty having one right there and they could just about have as much as they wanted.
They set it up in our new extension, which as you can see is not quite finished....but getting there slowly. I have been meaning to blog about it before now...I'll get there one day!!!
Making Christmas cards turned out to be quite labour intensive this year!! Me and my big ideas.
Firstly I made 200 small laminated dolls (50 of each child) which had to be all cut out and then cut again once laminated.
Then I made a quick background for them to go in. I put a hole in the top of each one so any friends or family who wanted to pop them on the Chrissy tree could!!!
So this it what the final card looked like....worth all the work I thought!!
Also I have been doing some small plates as place cards for Christmas day. (also did them for the dinner with my crafty peeps Marion and Christina because I knew they would enjoy them.)
They are a bit of work and I still have quite a few to go!!!
I am thinking about taking orders for these next year...starting in Sept. or October of course!!!
