Emu's and Bon Bons

Have finally finished a commissioned emu painting...quite happy with this one.... 

I have cut the outside of the painting off in this picture, but they are looking in through a window....

Well the bon bons are turning into a typical Kirsty saga....

I went to Ikea and decided to get some good pressies to go inside each one.  What I found were small I thought, but on returning home realised they weren't as small as I thought. So no toilet rolls would do the job. So I set about making my own tubes... and to fit the pressies they had to be.....well let's so HUGE!!!!

 

Here they are being used as super hero arm bandy thingys!!!

THEN when the banger bits for inside arrived in the post , even though they were the extra big 12" ones MY tubes were still too long for them ...... 

SO I had to cut about an inch and a half off each one!!!!

Now I am up to the first stage of the decorating, sticking some white tissue on, hopefully from here on in they will go smoothly.

 

I'll just leave you with this gem from the mouths of babes. Mr 4 says ......

"What ya makin' Mum?.....Sick bags???"

Oh Wow what a fun painting!!! You could do prints of this, wouldn't it be fun on a shirt, or the hem of a skirt?? Endless possibilities! Pam
