Finally I have these little houses finished!! They took a lot of thinking about which meant I was nearly over them before I began. But I am really happy with them now. I could't get excited about the house theme at all.....and the size of the project is so small they are only about 3cm square if that!!!
As well as that there was 40 odd to do....but I decided to paint them all white and use them as mini canvas's. They all have the same thing, a little skipping girl and have "skipping in the house" written at the back.
So WHY? did I do all these.......they are for a swap which will be happening at the Creative soul retreat in Melbourne this March. I can't wait for three solid days of being creative without interruption!!!
Her are some photos of what the kids got up to with each set of visitors we had over January. Mr.A had to show off his tractor to everyone. My husbands father built this for him when he was 5 so it is 37 years old. But we have revamped it with a new motor and paint job. Needless to say it's very popular!!!
It's actually made from an old washing machine!! My Father in law is very clever at building great things from nothing. He's not feeling that clever anymore though. He came out for his tenth lesson on how to use his digital camera. This time I wrote LARGE notes in the manual to remind him. Must be horrible to get old and not feel as switched on as you used to. He is getting really frustrated, loves to watch his grandson on that tractor though. The first time A drove it Hubby stood on the back, his Dad was there watching and got all welled up remembering that is just what he had done.....Life is great!!!
Little Miss B is after them on the mower!!
Here is Miss.C on the right with her friend from Adelaide.
