Welcome to the Mixed nuts online exhibition

Hi thanks for dropping by, hope you really enjoy looking at the work of these fabulous artists.

                     They all started with this plain white fabric shape

   

Once they had the shape they could interpret it in ANY way they liked. Some began with it already stitched and stuffed....ready to go, others asked for the pattern and fabric so they could add to it before sewing it together or catch things in the seam. The only rule was that they stay true to the shape when sewing it together after that they could do what they liked!!!!!

The results are fantastic!!!!

The plain nut measures around 40cm by 15cm at its widest part to give you an idea of the size of these finished pieces.

I have decided to encourage anyone who is inspired to have a go at their own. Send me a photo of your creation and for a small fee of $4 AUD payable by paypal when you submit your photo, I will add it to this exhibition.....How cool to have an exhibition that grows. I will post the price for your piece of work and if it sells there will be no commission taken, the transaction will be between you and your customer.
